1 Deleting Your Account in the App

You can delete your Sadhisu (ಸಾಧಿಸು) account and all of your study data yourself, at any time, from inside the app. No email or approval is needed.

1. Open the Sadhisu app and go to Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
3. Sign in with Google again when prompted. This confirms it is really you.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete My Account.

Deletion runs immediately. Once it finishes, you are signed out and your account no longer exists.

2 What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following are permanently erased from our systems:

• Your account and sign-in — your Google sign-in link, name, email address and profile photo. You can no longer sign in.
• Your profile — display name, preferences, streak, leaderboard visibility and premium status.
• Your study data — test results, subject performance, wrong-answer history and all saved bookmarks for tests and notes.
• Your test records — your best scores on each test, and your ranking and attempt history.
• Your progress — audio lesson and video lesson progress.
• Notifications — your push notification token, so we can no longer send you notifications.
• Everything on your device — all locally cached content, downloaded material and saved settings are cleared from the app.

Your name and scores are also removed from all leaderboards.

3 What We Keep, and Why

We retain a limited set of records after deletion because Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep proof of the transactions we process:

• Payment and order records — the amount, date, payment reference and order status for any purchase you made. These are kept for the period required by applicable financial and tax regulations (which may require retention for up to eight years), and are not used to identify or contact you.

Nothing else is retained. We do not keep a shadow copy of your profile or study data, and none of the retained records are used for marketing or shared for advertising purposes.

Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you — such as the total number of people who attempted a particular test — may remain, as they contain no personal information.

4 Premium Access and Deletion

Sadhisu premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks access until a fixed expiry date. There is no recurring subscription and no auto-renewal, so there is nothing to cancel before deleting your account — you will never be billed again automatically.

If you delete your account while premium access is still valid, you forfeit the remaining time. Deletion is not a cancellation and does not trigger a refund.

If you think you are entitled to a refund, request it before deleting your account — once the account is gone we can no longer verify your purchase against it. See our Refund Policy for the cases in which a refund is available.

5 Deleting Without the App

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address registered on your account and we will delete it for you.

• Send your request to sadhisuapp@gmail.com with the subject Account Deletion Request.
• Email from the same address you used to sign in, so we can verify the request. We may ask one additional question to confirm your identity.
• We action verified requests within 30 days, and delete exactly the same data listed in Section 2.

We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
